Welcome to Commodore Stockton Skills School!
I am so excited your child is in my class! Teaching young children has always been my passion. This is my 33rd year of teaching, and my 27th year teaching here at Commodore. 32 years of my career has been in Kindergarten and First Grade. I received my Bachelor's Degree and Teaching Credential from Chico State University way back in 1992/1993, a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Sacramento State University in 1997 and an ELD certificate to better help students whose primary language is not English. All of this teaching experience allows me to better help your child become a successful student.
At Commodore, our Kindergarten team is a cohesive group of experienced teachers who work tirelessly to create magical and fun learning moments for our students. I'm an advocate for play and socialization. Academically, I strive to not only meet the Kindergarten standards, but exceed them. I strongly believe every child has the ability to excel. I put great emphasis on helping all the children, while also having a really fun time!
