Welcome back to the 24-25 school year!

Our new year promises to be filled with reading, writing, and exploring our curiosities. Our school hours have changed this year by 10 minutes. We will start school at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and end at 2:18 p.m. Our minimum day, Tuesdays, begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 12:44 p.m. We have missed you and can't wait to see you!  Breakfast starts at 7:25 am daily and will be served on the first day of the 24-25 school year, August 1st, at 7:25 a.m. and beyond.

Again, school begins at 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, but regular day dismissals are now at 2:18 p.m., and Tuesday's minimum day schedule is 12:44 p.m.

Please remember to set your family up for success by implementing effective daily routines!
Morning affirmations, music or events that bring joy when they return from school, healthy balanced meals, and homework with conversations are effective for optimal productivity.

We want Mustangs to believe in the following Positive Beliefs or Self-Statements:
    • I am capable and strong.
    • I believe in and trust myself.
    • I can achieve my goals.
    • I am proud of myself for trying.
    • I can handle any problem I face.
    • I constructively respond to feedback.
    • I am my own best friend and cheerleader.
    • I love and forgive myself.
    • I learn a lot from mistakes.

Madison's students always have homework!  We want to accelerate all the learning lost encountered during previous years. We also want them to continue to complete their reading goals each night. They should be reading for 30 minutes each night using their comprehension strategies of visualizing, making mind movies, connecting, predicting, and questioning.

Thank you again for all you do to help our students thrive!
