Fillmore HALLOWEEN Costume Parade for Grades K - 3 & SDC (10-28-24  7:19 pm)

Parents, We will have our annual Halloween Costume Parade at Fillmore for grades PreSchool - 3rd & SDC on Thursday, October 31st.  The parade for our primary grade students will begin at 9:40 am - 10:10 am.  Parents with students in grades Preschool - 3rd & SDC may come on campus and view the parade and take pictures.  Parent will be allowed to enter the campus through the staff parking lot.

In addition, all students in grade K - 8 may come dressed in a Halloween costume.  Please have your child follow the Halloween Costume Rules/Guidelines flyer that went home with all students on Wednesday, October 23rd.  All students who choose to wear a costume must come to school already dressed in their costume.

The 2024-2025 School Year Starts on Thursday, August 1st at 9:05 am  (7-31-24  2:16 pm)

Fillmore parents and students, welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year which will begin on Thursday, August 1st!  Our NEW school hours are 9:05 am - 3:05 pm.  The school gate will open at 8:35 am for breakfast.  The school day begins at 9:05 am.  Please note this change with our new school gate hours and make sure your child arrives at school every day on time!

Students will be required to follow safety guidelines, but otherwise will report to their new teacher's classroom on the first day of school.  Students: Bring a backpack, water, and a facial mask (optional).  Parents: For the first day of school, parents will be allowed on campus to escort their children to their new classrooms.  As per the Stockton Unified School District policy, Fillmore is a closed campus school.  After the first school day, parents will not be allowed on campus except for parent meetings.  We thank you for your understanding of this important school district safety policy.

To encourage our students to dress for success and to participate in all physical activities, the following clothing items are not allowed at Fillmore Elementary:

1.  NO RED or ROYAL BLUE clothing allowed, nor on backpacks, shoes, shoelaces, belts, sweaters, or jackets. (SUSD Policy)

2.  No all-white t-shirts.

3.  No sagging pants or over-sized t-shirts.

4.  No tank tops or spaghetti strap blouses, or low cut blouses.

5.  All undergarments must not be visible.

6.  No team sports clothing, jerseys, caps, or inappropriate messages on t-shirts.

7.  No sandals or flip flops.

8th Grade Promotion Ceremony - Wednesday, May 29th   (5-27-24  9:28 pm)

Parents, Fillmore's 8th grade promotion ceremony will be held on the second to the last day of the school year, Wednesday, May 29th at 9:30 am on the Primary Playground.  We respectfully ask the following of all attendees of our 8th grade students:

• All attendees must enter through the staff parking lot.  Gate will open at 9:15 am.
• Please consider bringing your own portable chairs.  Chairs will not be available for attendees.
• No balloons
• You may take home your 8th grade student after the promotion ceremony.  Students must be signed out before leaving.
