Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I know what classroom materials my child will need this year?

    • All classroom tools and items needed by each student will be provided by the school.  If you would like to contribute snacks, cleaning items, tissue paper, or similar items, contact your teacher directly.

Does Commodore have an after-school program?  If so, how do I enroll my child?

    • Commodore does offer an after-school program.  The program may have a waiting list.  Registration is on a first come, first served basis and was held in May.  The program facilitator will notify families that are on the waiting list as spots become available. If interested in being added to the waitlist, use the QR code on the front page of the district website.  For information about participating in the program and the wait list, please contact the program facilitator, Alex Casillas: accasillas@stocktonusd.net

Do I have to pay for my child's meals?

    • At this time, students do not pay for breakfast or lunch.  Should that change, we will give ample notification to families.

How will my child find their class?

    • We will have ample staff directing students who may be new to our campus.  Middle school students will receive their schedules during their first period class.  Additionally, class lists will be posted at the front of the school office and online through our school website.

How can I become a volunteer for the school or classroom?

    • To be able to volunteer, you need to sign up through the Be a Mentor website and have fingerprinting completed.
