    Through our School Counseling Program, we help support student achievement in the areas of academic, career, and social/emotional learning. We reach all students through the Multi-Tiered Multi-Domain System of Support (MTMDSS).   

  • In Tier 1, we service all students through:

    • District Core Counseling Curriculum 
      • Second Step Social Emotional Learning 
      • Xello/Career Cruising
    • Additional Curriculum
      • Kelso's Choices
      • SMART kids
      • Why Try
    • School-Wide Activities
      • Back to School Night
      • Red Ribbon Week
      • Assemblies

    In Tier 2, we service some students with moderate concerns through:

    • Direct Services
      • Small groups
      • Individual counselor meetings
      • Check-ins
      • Referral to services
    • Indirect services
      • Consultation with teachers, staff, and parents
      • Collaboration with teachers, staff, and parents
      • CARE meetings 

    In Tier 3,  we service a few students with urgent concerns through:

    • Individual counseling
    • Student Study Team meetings
    • Referral to services
