Dear McKinley Students, Staff and Families,

I am very excited to be returning to our McKinley community! I look forward to seeing your smiling faces and open hearts.  I was very blessed to be accepted into the McKinley family last year and I can’t wait to make even stronger bonds this year!

As a person born and raised in Stockton who went to SUSD schools, it was important for me to return to Stockton after college and serve the community that raised me.  I believe in the people of Stockton and the power they have to make great change in the world.  I am humbled to be part of the team that gets to educate the next generation of Stocktonians.  I was a teacher in SUSD for 22 years and I am honored to be able to positively impact even more students as an assistant principal. I may only be on campus every other week, but I am always available to our eagles!

Estimados estudiantes, personal y familias de McKinley,

¡Estoy muy emocionada de regresar a nuestra comunidad McKinley! Espero ver sus caras sonrientes y corazones abiertos.  ¡Fui muy bendecida al ser aceptada en la familia McKinley el año pasado y no puedo esperar para hacer lazos aún más fuertes este año!

Como una persona nacida y criada en Stockton que fue a las escuelas SUSD, era importante para mí volver a Stockton después de la universidad y servir a la comunidad que me crió.  Creo en la gente de Stockton y en el poder que tienen para hacer grandes cambios en el mundo.  Me siento humilde de ser parte del equipo que llega a educar a la próxima generación de Stocktonians.  Fui maestro en SUSD durante 22 años y me siento honrada de poder impactar positivamente a aún más estudiantes como subdirectora. Puede que sólo esté en el campus cada dos semanas, ¡pero siempre estoy disponible para nuestras águilas!
