Hello, I am the school counselor for grades K-4 and have been at McKinley since the 2018-19 school year. I graduated from CSU East Bay and earned a master’s degree in School Counseling. I believe that every student can succeed and achieve their dreams, given the right academic, social/emotional and college and career support. I am a first generation Latina and I was born and raised in Stockton, CA and I am a product of Stockton Unified School District. This has made me understand that students can and will do well academically when there is a caring adult in their life that is genuine, understanding, and supportive. My goal is to support all students and McKinley families and my hope is that every single student is successful, safe, and happy.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, sewing, crafting and listening to podcasts.
