Middle School Science With Mr. M.

Welcome to 7th & 8th Grade Science

Our students will work hard to become active members of their classroom community. Learning happens when students explore topics that are relevant to them, form opinions, and express ideas. This year Mr. M. will be teaching both 7th grade science classes, both 8th grade science classes, and a STEM elective 6th period. In 7th grade science we learn about the earth and focus on the many processes that shaped it into the planet we know today. From chemical changes and cell structures, to Earth's resources and biodiversity, middle school science has students learning about problems, and following the scientific method to document our understandings. For 8th grade science we extend our learning out into the universe with space science, evolution, Biotechnology, and human impact.
