Monroe MESA

This year's MESA Club has a good mix of 6th, 7th and 8th graders and girls and boys.  In our first month our students have competed in class building a structure made from marshmallows and spaghetti noodles.  The project was challenging, fun and sticky.  Students planned, designed, allocated resources, designed, engineered and built as groups. They spent one session researching their current project, the mousetrap car and have already started building it.  This year looks like it's going to be enjoyable and exciting.
