If you are interested in high-tech, fast-paced and rewarding work in the automotive service industry, Weber’s Automotive Program can provide you with a solid education. We are articulated with Delta College for nine units, as well as Universal Technical Institute. We provide training by using the latest technology, equipment, and tools for your education. You will learn automotive theory, supported with hands-on training in the areas of vehicle maintenance, shop safety, braking systems, electrical/electronics, air conditioning, steering & suspension, transmissions, engine building and design, engine performance systems testing, emission controls, electric and hybrid designs, automotive computer controls and networks, and welding.
Automotive Technology 1
The course covers theory and hands-on training in the areas of vehicle maintenance, shop safety, braking systems, electrical/electronics, HVAC systems, and steering & suspension. Student groups will use modern equipment and tools to diagnose and repair.Automotive Technology 2The course covers theory and hands-on training in the areas of engine building and design, engine performance systems testing, emission controls, fuel and ignition systems, automotive computer controls and networks. Student groups are provided with vehicles with real problems that they diagnose and repair.Automotive Technology 3The course covers theory and hands-on training in the areas of automatic and manual transmission drivetrain diagnosis and repair. This capstone course provides students with real experience in computer-controlled transmission systems, differentials, four-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive operation.
