The mission of the Merlo IET Counseling department is to provide all students with a comprehensive school counseling program. Our goal is to promote personal/social growth, academic achievement, and career/college readiness for all grade level students in partnership with parents, teachers, administration, and the community.

The Merlo IET counseling department provides support for student growth and advocates for equity, access, and success for every student.  From course selection to quality opportunities for self-directed personal growth & future planning, guidance, academic, career, and college goals services with attention to all student's personal and social development.
