Each year the High School music departments work together with the Elementary Schools in their zone to put on a concert. The Elementary Students are able to see the music department of the High School they will go to, meet the teachers, and see what opportunities they will have to participate in music beyond eighth grade.

The Chavez Zone is the first Zone of the year to do their zone event. They combine students from grades 6-12, with ten Elementary schools participating.
