The SUSD Grants Department pursues and acquires public and private grants that promote the District’s mission and core values. Department staff oversees, coordinates, and supports grant development activities throughout the District by providing services to teachers, staff, and administrators and by serving as a liaison with current and potential external funding agencies.

Grant Process

The following procedure applies to all district staff members (teachers, administrators, central office staffers) who plan to submit grant applications, regardless of the amount. This procedure does not apply to affiliated groups such as PTAs or school foundations.
