About the Teacher

Hello Everyone! My name is Linda Lillard and I have been a teacher at Hazelton for 27 years. I teach 1st grade and have experience in all of the primary grade levels from 1st-3rd grades. I earned my Bachelor's degree at University of the Pacific, here in Stockton and my Master's degre in Curriculum and Instruction (with an emphasis in English as a second language) from Arizona State University. I am married and have five children, three who are adults and two who are teenagers. In my free time I enjoy swimming, dancing and traveling with my family.

I truly enjoy teaching and being a part of the Hazelton family and strive to hold all of my students to the same high expectations I would hold my own children to. I believe all children have strengths and can find a path of learning that truly works for them. I love watching young children learn and grow throughout the year and look forward to students coming back to see me many years after they have been my students.
