Welcome to the Van Buren counseling page! We are committed to providing our students and families with social, emotional and community service support as we move through this difficult time. Both have a wide variety of resources for students and families.
School Counseling Services
Your School Counselors will be available between the hours of 7:40am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday. You may contact your child's School Counselor via email or phone (see About Our Counselors). Please allow one business day for a response. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility.

School Counselors support our students, families, and staff by providing services such as classroom instruction, parent engagement, and social emotional support.
Our students and families can access school counseling services by:- Student request
- Parent request
- Administrator, teacher or staff request
- Counselor asks to meet with student
- Request of a friend

Child Welfare and Attendance
Please feel free to call our CWA, Social Work Assistant, Be Boonsalat for further assistance with questions regarding Families In Transition, Home Instruction, attendance concerns, and any other student/family support issues you may have. Her hours are M-F, 8 AM-3PM and she can be reached at (209) 933-7020, extension 2281.
