About the Teacher

Ms. Markley
I have been a teacher in SUSD for 16 years and have taught grades 4 through 12 during that time. I moved to Stockton in 2002 from San Jose where I was born and raised. I went to the University of Sacramento State where I recieved a Bachelors degree in Kineisiology with an emphasis in physical education. I then continued in their credentialing program and recieved a K-12 PE credential and a credential in the social sciences. I have really come to enjoy and love Stockton as my home and community. I have coached voluntarily for the city of Stockton representing some of the schools that I have taught at. I love sports and know how participating in them brings confidence and leadership skills to those who participate. I have been coaching at Stagg for 11 years and am grateful for the opportunity it gives me to get to know my students in a different atmosphere.
