My name is Monica Gayle and I am excited to introduce myself as the New Principal of El Dorado Elementary. I am a proud 3rd generation Stocktonian, product of SUSD, and graduate from the University of the Pacific. I taught science in SUSD for 14 years and have been an administrator in the district for 10 years. My goals in education are to encourage students to become productive responsible citizens. I believe in creating a fun and engaging environment with high expectations for all students and am committed to providing students with the best learning experience possible.
Our school goals are to improve student achievement, provide a safe environment, and to work collaboratively with our families for student success.
Parents are welcome to volunteer on campus for school activities and events once approved through SUSD volunteer process www.beamentor.org/stockton with prearranged advanced notice. Parents must sign in at all times for meetings with staff such as IEP’s, parent teacher conference, counselors, SST’s, etc.
In conclusion, it is my honor to serve as Principal for El Dorado Elementary and I look forward to building bridges with all stakeholders for student success. It takes a “village” to raise a child and your support is critical.
