My name is Aaron Estrada and I teach Biology, Algebra and Integrated Science at Stagg High School. As an educator for 20 years, I have a Bachelors degree in Forensic Psychology from UC Davis, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. My roots to Stagg run deep as a former graduate of the class of 1996. For me, teaching is a unique experience that gives me a chance to prepare students to meet the demands of a professional work environment. My classroom emphasizes a team approach to completing rigorous engineering projects for building structures, vehicles and other contraptions that mimic real world engineering challenges. One of the most satisfying things is watching students take full ownership of their projects and becoming passionate about showcasing what they have accomplished. In addition to teaching, I have served as a defensive coordinator for Stagg JV football and am also the club advisor for Circle of Friends, a social club that facilitates fun activities between disabled and non-disabled students on campus. I look forward to another great year!
