About me: I was born and raised in Stockton and graduated from Stagg High School in 1996. I attended San Joaquin Delta College and DeAnza College, then transferred to San Jose State University where I earned my BA in History. I earned my M.Ed in Inspired Teaching and Learning with a Concentration in Social Emotional Learning from National University. I serve on the Ethnic Studies Steering Committee and am one of the co-authors of the Filipino/a/x American Studies course, which will be piloting in Fall 2024. My second classroom is serving as head coach and advisor for the Stagg Spirit Team where I oversee the Varsity, JV, and Frosh cheerleading teams, as well as the Royalettes, our majorette dance team. I am married to David, who is also a Stagg graduate and together, we have 3 children.
