It has been my great pleasure to be part of the original staff when Stocton High School first opened as a credit recovery program in August of 2009. Prior to that, I served as an elementary counselor at Pulliam and Taylor Elementary Schools after having started employment with Stockton Unified as a School Based Mental Health Counselor.
About me:
My previous career experiences include: Admissions Advisor for National University, Executive Director of Easter Seal Society of Stockton; Founding Board Member and Chief Financial Officer of Nazarene Christion School and Brookside Christian High School; California licenced Casualty, Health, Life Insurance and Securities Agent; Chief Cytotechnologist St Joseph's Hospital Stockton; US Army Medical Labratory Technician.
I am excited about being part of the opportunity that Stockton High School provides students who may have previously struggled in the comprehensive high school setting. As an independent study program we are able to individualize our approach to learning to meet each student's needs and guide them through struggles with social/emotional issues, academic deficiencies and missing graduation requirements in an environment free from the distractions of the larger schools.
