Dear Kennedy Parents and Community,

As principal of Kennedy K-8 School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year at Kennedy.  We are all excited to have students back in the classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed, connected, and a part of our Kennedy family. Additionally, we strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic abilities and to be ready and prepared at the end of the year to tackle the next grade level. At Kennedy, we have great teachers who spend hours planning and creating classroom activities to engage our students in learning. Our teachers utilize research-based best practices and analyze data to determine current skill levels and to set goals for growth and improvement. We believe that all students can excel at high levels of learning and receive highest quality of education, provide that they attend school every day to grow in their knowledge and skills.

We hope that you will find our website helpful and informative. All of the information we send out via email can also be found on this site. Our weekly newsletter is emailed to parents on Friday afternoons and we upload a copy to our website. We also provide dates for all events and activities on our website. Additionally, we have Facebook and Instagram accounts that we will use to send out updates and quick announcements as we go through the school year.
