    Hello, Fremont Families and Students,
    My name is Jacki Ortegel and I am one of two Resource Teachers on campus. I primarily teach 4th-8th grade. This will be my 7th year at Fremont and with SUSD. This is my 9th year of teaching. Prior to teaching, I was a construction contract manager for an electric power company in Southern California. I grew up in Los Angeles and moved to the central valley 12 years ago. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Arts in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism.  I am married, have three children and two boxers named Torrance and Talullah plus a Lab named Piper. I enjoy catching up with friends whenever I can and spending time with my family. I like to read biographies and non-fiction books. I also like to work out.
