Meet the Counselor

Hello! My name is Dr. Baker-Lopez, and I am proud to serve as your school counselor. My goal is to help every student succeed in and out of the classroom by providing a safe, inclusive environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Primary Years Academy (PYA), we are dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students. As an IB school, we aim to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who are prepared to thrive in a diverse, global society. Our goal is to empower students to become their best selves, and our school counseling program is a vital part of developing the modern learner.
