  • How do I clear an absence?

Please call the office the day of your students absence @ (209) 933-7350

If you have verification of your students absence, it must be given to the designated school site official within five school days from the last day of absence.

    Did you know?

Chronic absence means your child has missed 10% or more of the school year for any reason to date. In the first semester, that meant missing only 8 days of school! Students who are chronically absent demonstrate lower academic achievement levels than their classmates who attend school every day.

When your child is absent, you have five school days to excuse the absence. After five days the absent becomes an unexcused absence. If your child is too ill to attend school, be sure to call your child’s school every day of the absence.

Students should not come to school if they are running a fever, vomiting, have diarrhea or an unexplained rash.

After fourteen days of excused absence, you will be required to provide a doctor’s note to the school for every excused absence after that point.
