BIENVENIDOS A LA CLASE DE ESPAÑOL DE LA SEÑORA ZELLER
¡Hola! Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! This year, I'm teaching Spanish 1 (1st term), Spanish 2 for Native Speakers (1st and 2nd term), AP Spanish Language and Culture (2nd term), and Spanish 4 for Patient Care-Medical Interpreter Certification (2nd term). I'm also the Spanish club advisor. The club meets on Mondays after school.
In Spanish classes, students will be immersed in opportunities to -read, write, listen, speak- in Spanish, think critically, and appreciate the Hispanic culture through three modes of communication: interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational. Students are expected to complete independet work and practice every day at home and/or outside class hours, and come prepared for class. Students should watch video tutorials, listen to audio, review lessons in their textbook, take notes, record their voices, keep a notebook, and practice on VHL Central and other language Apps. Students are also encouraged to use Spanish in their leisure time, such as listening to music, watching TV shows and movies, playing games, and having interactions with friends and family in Spanish.
Have a successful school year!
