SUSD's 2025 Benefits Annual Open Enrollment ended on 10/11/2024
The annual benefits open enrollment period was held 9/23/2024 through 10/11/2024. No further enrollment submissions can be accepted. The benefit and cash in lieu enrollment changes that were submitted during the 2025 open enrollment period, will become effective January 1, 2025. Health premium deduction or cash in lieu amount changes will occur on the December 30, 2024 pay warrant and forward.

- Registered Domestic Partners - the cost of benefits for an enrolled Domestic Partner and children of the partnership is considered imputed income by the IRS. Imputed income is taxable and would be included in the employee's gross income, subject to Federal tax withholding and payroll taxes.

Accessing Health Coverage Outside Your Region Service Area: Generally, only emergency or urgent care services are covered when seeking medical care that is outside your residential service area. However, you should contact your medical insurance carrier (phone number on the back of your insurance card) to review your travel care options. You may also want to review the Evidence of Coverage (EOC) document for your medical plan (see the EOC section listed above) for information on receiving care outside your residential service area.
