Principal's Message

Dear Jane Fredrick, High School Students and Families,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write you this letter introducing myself as the new Principal at Jane Frederick High School. I can proudly say that I have been in the service of Stockton Unified for over 20 years and spent the last five years as a school site administrator. In addition, I have experience as a high school teacher, safe and supportive school coordinator, outreach consultant for child welfare/attendance, PLUS advisor, and a high school counselor. The highest priority as a principal, is to assure all our students at Jane Frederick receive the necessary support that they need to be successful academically, socially, and emotionally. We want every student who attends Jane Fredrick to become a fully prepared citizen who will have a positive impact on our community post-graduation.
This year, our school will focus on refining our instructional practices with an emphasis on equity, mastery of state standards, trauma-informed instruction, and social-emotional learning. We anticipate a great year in which we will further increase our graduation rates and empower our students to become leaders within their community, career, and academic endeavors.
It is important to become familiar with our J.F. Student Handbook located on the school website. This handbook outlines the school and district’s academic, discipline, and behavior policies. All the information in the handbook will help and ensure that the new school year progresses smoothly so that every student can achieve their goals at the highest level.
We are fortunate to have such a caring staff that offers a high quality of education, social/emotional guidance, and positive mentorship to our Jane Frederick students. Our staff truly sets Jane Fredrick apart from the rest. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions. It’s important that your voice is heard to best provide support for your child and all students who attend Jane Frederick high school.
