Hello, my name is Pedro Heredia and I started working at Franklin High School in 2019 as the Mental Health Clinician. I have been working as a Mental Health Clinician in schools and community clinics since 2011. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice in 2007 and a Masters Degree in Social Work in 2012 from CSU Stanislaus. I also earned my License in Clinical Social Work in 2017.
My role is to offer support, teach healthy coping skills and help students adopt a healthy perspective on viewing situations they may encounter. My mantra is: Face Everything and Rise.
Hobbies/Interest: watching sports; collecting; traveling. I also enjoy trying food from different countries.
Hola, mi nombre es Pedro Heredia y comencé a trabajar en Franklin High School en 2019 como el Terapeuta de Salud Mental. He trabajado como Terapeuta de Salud Mental en escuelas y clínicas comunitarias desde 2011. Obtuve una Licenciatura en Justicia Criminal en 2007 y una Maestría en Trabajo Social en 2012 de CSU Stanislaus. Obtuve mi Licenciatura en Trabajo Social Clínico en 2017.
Mi función es ofrecer apoyo, enseñar habilidades de afrontamiento saludables y ayudar a los estudiantes a adoptar una perspectiva saludable para ver las situaciones que puedan encontrar. Mi mantra es: Enfréntate a todo y levántate.

Stefani Allison, LMFT
My name is Stefani Allison, and I am one of the Mental Health Clinicians at Franklin. This marks my third year serving the Franklin community. I am available on campus from Monday to Friday.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and a Master's degree in Psychology from Stanislaus State University. With over 15 years of experience working with students, I have found a particular passion for supporting high school students. My goal is to ensure that my office remains a safe and welcoming space for anyone in need of support.

Ms. Sally Forgach, Social Worker Assistant
My name is Sally Forgach I am a Social Work Assist here at Franklin High School. I was born and raised in Stockton, California and I am bilingual. A few of my passions are spending time with my Family, Yoga and watching movies. I have my Juris Doctorate Degree in Law from Taft School of Law; I have also attended The University of the Pacific and San Joaquin Delta College. I have 17 years of experience working in the field in Education and with youth. I am excited to be here at Franklin and looking forward too many great things to come. I believe “Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they’re meant to be.

Mr. Amit Nathaniel, Social Worker Assistant
Hello my name is Amit Nathaniel and I am the Social Work Assistant here at Franklin High School. I was born and raised in Stockton, CA. A few of my passions are Soccer, Social Justice and Equality, and Faith. I have my bachelor's degree in Sociology. I bring 5 years of experience working with High School students in mentoring, counseling, and mental health specialty. I am honored to have this opportunity to partner with you to create a better future for everyone at Franklin. Here’s to an exciting year ahead at Franklin.

Mrs. Sylvia Warner, Health Educator
Ms. Sylvia Warner started working with the Franklin community in 2017 as a youth mentor through an outside community agency. Being a youth mentor, Ms. Sylvia has been able to offer Franklin students services such as, one on one socio-emotional support, conflict mediation sessions and support groups. These experiences have demonstrated to Ms. Sylvia the importance of her job role in supporting students as many come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Now, Ms. Sylvia is Franklin's Health Educator as she talks to students about the impacts of smoking tobacco and cannabis. Ms. Sylvia is available to work with individuals struggling with usage, providing healthy alternatives so that students may live long, successful and healthier lives.

Ms. Alma Gomez, Health Educator
Ms. Alma Gomez is a TUPE Health Educator with Delta Health Care. Ms. Gomez was raised in South San Francisco where she started working as a parent volunteer with the Head Start Program. There she provided support for low-income families in need of educational assistance, outside family services and assisting Spanish speaking parents with translation. She moved to Manteca in 2004 where she continued work with family services for SJC serving 20+ years working as a family service worker for Head Start. Today, Alma enjoys advocating for children and families and hopes to make more of an impact.
