Geospatial Thinking

Merlo students think and work spatially, having the ability to visualize and interpret ideas presented on a map, and are able to find and communicate geographic patterns.  

Communication

Merlo students are able to communicate their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a variety of ways, including verbally, through the written word, and through other mediums including geospatial and emerging technologies.

Critical Thinking

Merlo students can find, analyze, synthesize, and produce information and use it to create their own knowledge and products. Students strive for personal growth and fulfillment.

Collaboration

Merlo students demonstrate the ability to collaborate with others in a variety of real-world circumstances. Students are able to work together in groups socially and professionally both locally and globally.
