LGBTQ+ Resources & Supports
Stockton Unified School District supports and affirms our students, families, and staff who identify as LGBTQ+. It is important to us that all of our students and families feel seen and safe at school. Research also supports this as studies have shown that schools with GSA or Rainbow clubs to support LGBTQ+ students have school climate that is safer for students of every background.

Gender Support Plans
Students have the right to be called by their preferred name and pronouns at school. Reach out to your School Administrator or School Counselor to request a Gender Support Plan. The Gender Support Plan is a detailed form used at school to create a shared understanding among school staff, parents and a student about the ways in which the student’s authentic gender will be accounted for and supported at school.
